Leonidas
Leonidas has faced many hardships in her life. Her mother died when she was two years old. She was also abandoned by her husband when her children were very young.
As a single mom of six children, Leonidas made her own path. Pushing past illness and a lack of support, she worked hard to feed her family, from cleaning houses to laying block at construction sites. The Cielo Cooperative has provided a much needed income for Leonidas and her family. It was also here where she first encountered Christ.
Her health has been declining for many years and Leonidas passed away in January 2021. She will be greatly missed and proceeds from sales will go to her children.
